Standard Stock Storm/Screen Door

GENERAL

  • Due to a great deal of interest in our SimpleSwitch screen doors with optional storm insert, we decided to make several of each style door (half lite, 2/3rds lite, and full lite) to have available at the most commonly-requested size.
  • The last image to the right opens as guide for how much can be trimmed off each side of these doors (based upon the style) in order to make it fit your frame — so that if your door is as small as 34-1/2″ x 77-7/8″, you can trim the Standard SimpleSwitch Door without it affecting the structural stability.

  • Four butterfly turn buttons are provided for holding the inserts in place.
  • No finish is placed on these doors so that you can easily stain or prime and paint the door, giving you lots of flexibility with the finished look.
  • All of these doors are fabricated from clear White Pine and built 36″ wide and 81″ tall.
  • The thickness remains our standard 1-1/8″ thick solid wood construction. The stiles and top rails are 4-1/2″ wide and the bottom rail is 7″ wide.

Storefronts

GENERAL

HISTORICAL AND CONTEMPORARY

Since 1921, the experienced craftsmen at Adams Architectural Millwork have created, renovated, and revitalized storefronts. Customers are delighted with the finished look. There are many reasons you should consider a makeover for your small business. You’ll appreciate:

AUTHENTICITY

Nothing improves the look and curb appeal of your main street business like the facelift of a restored storefront by Adams Architectural. An authentic historical storefront brings back the charm and warmth of bygone days.

COST

Restoring your historic storefront is affordable. Many states and cities offer low-interest financing for updating storefront facades.

INCREASED BUSINESS

Revitalized, historic main street storefronts are an inviting way to entice prospective customers into your business. In addition, an updated storefront is essential for preserving and promoting the architectural character of your building’s facade.

IMPROVED MATERIALS

We construct your storefront using both traditional wood and other weather resistant materials. Our high-quality work and attention to detail will recreate history while lasting well into the future. Each storefront can be as unique as each of our clients while still conforming to historical criteria.

CONSTRUCTION

While we adhere to historically authentic construction techniques, there’s no reason not to use modern upgrades. For example, your storefront windows and doors can be built with energy efficient insulated glass. We will ship the completed components to your site and your carpenter can then slide them into place using simple window stops.
